Cyber Resilience Pledge

Be Secure Cyber has signed the UK Government Cyber Resilience Pledge, committing to practical cyber governance, NCSC Early Warning and stronger supply-chain assurance.

Be Secure Cyber has signed the UK Government Cyber Resilience Pledge, a voluntary commitment to practical actions that strengthen organisational and supply chain cyber resilience.

The pledge focuses on cyber security as a leadership responsibility, use of the NCSC Early Warning service, and an approach to Cyber Essentials across the supply chain based on risk.

Our commitment

Under the Cyber Resilience Pledge, Be Secure Cyber has committed to:

  • implement the actions in the Cyber Governance Code of Practice and maintain cyber security as a director responsibility
  • maintain registration with the NCSC Early Warning service
  • review Cyber Essentials coverage across relevant suppliers and consider risk when deciding where Cyber Essentials or alternative assurance is appropriate
  • encourage appropriate cyber resilience and assurance practices within our own supply chain
  • review and report publicly on progress against the pledge each year

As a small consultancy, these activities are applied proportionately to our size and operating model while maintaining clear evidence of governance, risk management, supplier assurance, incident preparedness and periodic review.

How we support the commitment

Our internal governance arrangements include a documented cyber risk appetite, cyber security strategy , periodic governance review, supplier assurance, incident response planning and an annual cyber incident exercise.

Be Secure Cyber also maintains independent cyber security assurance through the certification and assurance activities relevant to our own organisation.

Signed declaration

The Cyber Resilience Pledge is a voluntary commitment rather than a certification or accreditation. It does not replace other assurance or certification requirements, including Defence Cyber Certification where DCC applies.
